Big Dipper

I went camping out at Half Moon Bay. During the first night, the skies were clear so I had some time to experiment. From a past trip, I learned that high ISOs lead to noisy images–not when you look on the back of the camera, but when you get home and view the enlarged photo on the computer. So, I set the ISO to 100 and used the remote to trigger the shutter. I should have taken more photos, but I didn’t pack a second battery. I decided to save some juice for the second night, which ended up being overcast.
